(Interactive whiteboards or digital whiteboards can be used to evaluate course material. This can done by projecting the course material on the surface of the whiteboard through a LCD Projector and then by using the Kirkpatrick Model)

Evaluation of the course material designed by you after certain time interval is important so that the course can be redesigned and re customized to meet the ever growing and changing learners' needs. Without periodic evaluation we can not figure out the areas where the course material needs improvement. Course evaluation is also necessary to determine: the overall effectiveness of the learning material, likability by learners, accountability and relevance of the information in the present context,

The impact of e learning on the learners can be evaluated by: calculating return on investment, through metrics and learning analytics or through Kirkpatrick Model. The Kirkpatrick model is one of the oldest model for Summative Evaluation. The summative evaluation is the final step in the ADDIE model, in which we measure the extent to which the e learning program has accomplished its objectives. Because of the additional time and cost required in summative evaluation, it is generally ignored by the trainers. The Kirkpatrick Model developed in 1975 by Donald Kirkpatrick is a four level model of evaluation. Its four levels namely: learners' reaction, learning results, behavior at the work place and business results are applied to technology based training.
